By engaging our services, requesting a quotation, or allowing us to commence work on your property, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with our services.

  • Properla coating applications (masonry, facade, and water repellent)
  • Damp course injection treatments
  • Roof lap ventilation installation
  • Drainage services (unblocking, repairs, relining, and CCTV surveys)
  • Professional roof cleaning and moss removal
  • New roof installations and remedial roofing work

4. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations and estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quotations are based on the information provided and the conditions observed during our survey. Any additional work required due to unforeseen circumstances will be quoted separately and requires your written approval before commencement.

5. Surveys and Assessments

We provide free property surveys to assess insulation standards and conduct damp testing. Our surveys are conducted by qualified technicians and provide the basis for our service recommendations. Survey findings and recommendations are provided in good faith based on conditions observed at the time of inspection.

6. Pricing and Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
  • Prices are fixed for the agreed scope of work unless variations are requested
  • Additional charges may apply for work outside the original quotation
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices for increases in material costs or unforeseen site conditions

6.2 Payment

  • Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or invoice

8. Health and Safety

We maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures. All work is carried out in accordance with current health and safety regulations. You are responsible for informing us of any hazards, asbestos, or dangerous substances on your property. We reserve the right to cease work if unsafe conditions are discovered.

9. Insurance and Liability

  • Roof work: 10-year guarantee on workmanship
  • Properla coatings: 15-20 year performance guarantee

10.2 Warranty Conditions

  • Warranties cover defects in workmanship only
  • Material warranties are provided by manufacturers
  • Warranties require proper maintenance and reasonable care
  • Warranty claims must be reported promptly in writing
  • We reserve the right to inspect and remedy warranty issues

11. Variations and Additional Work

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be confirmed in writing. Additional charges will apply for variations or extra work. We will provide written estimates for additional work before commencement. Verbal agreements for variations must be confirmed in writing within 48 hours.

12. Cancellation and Termination

12.1 Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of contract acceptance if the contract was concluded away from our business premises. This right is waived if you expressly request us to begin work during the cancellation period.

12.2 Cancellation by Us

We may terminate the contract with immediate effect if:

  • Payment is not made in accordance with agreed terms
  • You breach any material term of this agreement
  • Access to the property is denied
  • Unsafe working conditions are discovered
  • We become aware of circumstances making work impossible or illegal

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, material shortages, or other force majeure events.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By engaging our services, you consent to the processing of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

15. Complaints Procedure

We are committed to customer satisfaction. If you have any concerns:

  1. Contact us immediately to discuss the issue
  2. We will investigate and respond within 14 days
  3. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to relevant trade bodies

16. Property Access and Preparation

You must provide:

  • Safe and unobstructed access to work areas
  • Adequate parking facilities for our vehicles
  • Access to electrical supply and water where required
  • Removal of valuable or fragile items from work areas

17. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in our survey reports, recommendations, and technical documentation remain our property. You may not reproduce or distribute our materials without written permission.

18. Sub-contracting

We may engage qualified sub-contractors to perform certain aspects of the work. All sub-contractors are carefully selected and work under our supervision and quality standards. We remain fully responsible for all work performed.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We will attempt to resolve disputes through negotiation before resorting to legal proceedings.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid provisions that achieve the same commercial purpose.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with your quotation and any written variations, constitute the entire agreement between parties. No oral agreements or representations are binding unless confirmed in writing.

22. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to future contracts. Existing contracts remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of agreement.
